Generously donated by Supreme Services, this collectible puck and acrylic holder is an original in a limited edition of "A Slice of Ice" series commemorating the closing of the historic Maple Leaf Gardens. This item was produced in recognition of the Toronto Maple Leafs last game in the Maple Leaf Gardens vs. Chicago Blackhawks on February 13, 1999. The liquid inside the puck is an actual portion of the melted ice surface used at the Maple Leaf Gardens during this historic event.

The painting was originally commissioned by the Town of Essex and this image ultimately became a mural in the town.
