Auction Rules and Guidelines

  • Normal auction rules apply.
  • Bid increases must be $5 or greater. We suggest at least a $10 bid increase for major gifts in each block.
  • In cases of dispute or tie bid the Auctioneer's decision is final.
  • All items are paid for by cash, debit card, VISA or Mastercard. No cheques please. All sales are final.
  • The Auctioneer reserves the right to open bidding at a fair value.
  • The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject bids that are not fair to all concerned.
  • Successful bidders will be notified by telephone within 30 minutes of block closing regarding where and when to pick up and pay for them. It is essential to give the bidding operator a phone number where you can be reached for 30 minutes after block closing. Failure to do so can result in the Auctioneer contacting the next highest bidder for that item.
  • The Rotary Club of Windsor–St. Clair does not warranty any goods, services or activities auctioned, and despite a special or particular description given by the Auctioneer, The Purchaser accepts goods, services or activities in their general existing condition. All items are new items unless described otherwise at the time of the auction.
  • Auctioneers and bid telephone operators may not bid on items and are ineligible to win items while on duty.
